Ahmad Zaki Sdn Bhd was awarded a major project by the Public Works Department of Malaysia to alleviate the major traffic problems at Jalan Kuching and Jalan Duta.

Amongst the works carried out was the road widening that needed to be carried out. ESC projects (M) Sdn Bhd designed a permanent sheet pile wall in place of the proposed reinforced concrete wall. With the permanent sheet pile wall no temporary sheet piles were needed and construction speed was more than doubled. ESC Projects (M) Sdn Bhd carried out all works including the design of the system.
