Johor Corporation contracted SK Jaya Sdn Bhd to build the basement for this high profile Convention Centre. Due to the fast track nature of the project, ESC Projects (M) Sdn Bhd designed a permanent sheet pile wall using 15 metre length ESC22B sheet piles in S275 grade steel material. The sheet pile were painted with 200 micron Jotamastic Durathane AS red colour for an aesthetically pleasing appearance.

In order to provide the contractor with an open area to construct the basement ESC designed and installed 50 ton ground anchors. The sheet pile clutches were welded after installation and a final coat was painted on after building works were completed. This cost and time saving method allowed the client to have their project earlier than using conventional methods
