Responsibilities
-
The Legal Officer will provide legal advice and prepare a variety of legal documentation. The incumbent will also support the legal functions for the group’s global operations and should be familiar with international instruments and organizations relevant to construction and manufacturing.
-
Checking, vetting and reviewing of all legal documentations and provide legal advisory on all contractual and legal aspects of corporate and contracting business affairs. Structure, draft and negotiate a wide range of agreements, memoranda of understanding and contracts. Assist in handling structuring exercises such as merger and acquisition, financing, corporate restructuring and other commercial undertakings. Keep the group updated on relevant legal developments and ensure appropriate monitoring and recording systems are in place to capture information relevant to legal cases. Ensure that the group complies with all relevant legislation and proofing all published materials that contains advice or legal information to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent with minimum 7 years experience in legal practice or construction environment;

Experience in corporate conveyance and litigation matters;
-
A team player who is able to respond to requests with short deadlines and works accurately.

Perform detailed geotechnical evaluation and analysis for the design of large scale retaining structures and slope stabilization works, with particular emphasis on industrial marine developments and construction in seismic regions.
Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in Geotechnical Engineering with minimum 5 years related experience;

Detailed knowledge of applicable global standards and methods for geotechnical analysis, including seismic analysis;

Assist the Production Manager in ensuring smooth and efficient manufacturing process and to ensure the both internal and external requirements of the Company and its clients are met with a high degree of quality and professionalism.
Essential Functions

Establish plan to meet set production cycle time, original scheduled date, customer request date and shipment plan;

Supervise daily production, problem solving and trouble shooting. Ensure quality of product meet customer satisfaction and standards requirement;

Manage company resources in manpower, materials and machines to achieve operations targets;

Introduce continuous improvement techniques to improve current production methods, processes and increase production capability;

Identify production failures, customer complaints, quality defect investigation and recommend counteractive measures;

Manage and plan daily priority and Work-In-Progress movement within the factory , ensuring all records are updated;

To supervise and train production personnel.

Job Summary

Responsible for all day to day functions in the Accounts Department for the Company at the factory located in UAE. Candidate will report to the Operations Manager in the UAE office and also the Financial Controller in Kuala Lumpur office.
Essential Functions
-
Prepare the full set of monthly and yearly accounts using accounting software. Knowledge of software such as UBS or SAP will be of added advantage.
Other Responsibilities
-
Maintain the Accounts Receivable Ledger & Accounts Payable Ledger, liaising with debtors/creditors for collections/payments. Assist in liaising with our banker on Trade Finance matters such as application of Banker Acceptances (BA) and Letters of Credits (LC). Having experience in such matters will be of added advantage. Assist in liaising with auditors and tax agents for the yearly audit and tax returns and be responsible for the Admin functions of the UAE office.
Minimum Qualifications

Candidate should have a minimum of 3 to 5 years accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing concern. Be an Accounting graduate or hold a professional accounting qualification.

Implementation and coordination of the company's Safety and Health policies. Assist in managing the development of building services and maintenance work including preventive maintenance and service management.
Essential Functions
- Plan, develop and implement health and safety programs, policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements;
- Monitor and inspect equipments, workplaces and ensure suitable protective equipment is provided, used correctly and complied with company safety policies;
- Conduct Job Safety Analysis/Hazard identification program to identify potential hazards and carry out counter measure;
- Report and investigate any accident and incidents, near miss accident, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning/disease happened at place of work, coordinate preventive measures and maintain statistics of such occurrence;

- Enforce supervision, discipline and work ethics for security personnel and communicate security issues to relevant internal and external parties.
